Healthy Grow Agri Business Review Company of the Year

Published on 4/17/2024
Ben Thompson, President and CEO of Pearl Valley Farms, is proud to announce that Healthy Grow has been selected by Agri Business Review as Company of the Year.

Healthy Grow, a subsidiary of Pearl Valley Farms, located in Pearl City, Illinois has been selected by Agri Business Review as the Company of the Year in the organic fertilizer realm. Healthy Grow is a family owned and operated business specializing in sustainable organic fertilizer in a broad spectrum of fields to include agriculture, nursery crops, lawn and garden, golf courses and sports fields.

Healthy Grow Products, which includes Dave Thompson’s Organic Healthy Grow, Healthy Grow Professional, Coop Poop, Chickity Doo Doo, Chick N Poo and others, benefit from a custom crafted process that repurposes litter from layer hens, whose diet is rich in protein, calcium, vitamins, and minerals, into a product that naturally supports the metabolic pace and needs of soils and plants. The aerobic composting process utilizes oxygen, temperature, and time to eliminate pathogens and fully decompose the organic material, while preserving abundant beneficial bacteria, carbon, natural nutrition, and soil structure components. Over time, this builds and supports the soil biology that is responsible for all nutrient exchange and quickly improves soil structural integrity.

Agri Business Review Magazine is a print and online magazine that provides over 80,000 readers with a 360-degree view of the agriculture ecosystem. The magazine covers the entire space of the agriculture community, including Crop Production, Livestock, Forestry, and Fishing.
