First Green Field Trips

Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake 
will be hosting a First Green Field Trip on Tuesday May 5th beginning at 8:15 am and ending at 10:45 am. There will be 65, 5th grade students from a local school that will be learning about various aspects of what it takes to maintain a golf course. If you are considering hosting one of these events or want to see what it’s all about, this is a great opportunity to come out and experience a unique learning opportunity for students.

Lyon Oaks Golf Course in Wixom will be hosting (2) GCSAA First Green Field Trips this year that will turn the golf course into a STEAM learning lab for the morning.
 
The first Field Trip is scheduled for Tuesday May 12th and the second is scheduled for Friday May 15th. If you are considering hosting one of these events or want to be part of something unique, this is a great opportunity to come out and see what it’s all about.

The Hancock Turfgrass Research Center in East Lansing will be hosting a GCSAA First Green Field Trip on May 19th.
