The MiGCSA Board of Directors is proud to announce a new appointment to the Equipment Manager Liaison to the Board Mitchell D. Hunt, Equipment Manager at Traverse City Country Club.
Before his time at TCCC. he was a Yamaha marine dealer owner & founder of EPM Inc. where he was CEO for 20 years. He is a Master Yamaha marine tech & Yamaha Outboard CSI Award recipient 2009 – 2014.
Mitch is from Livonia Michigan where he graduated from Churchill High School in 1985. In 1990 he graduated from Washtenaw Community College with a degree in management applied science.He has lived in Northern Michigan over 30 plus years. He is married to his beautiful and supporting wife Mickey, they have two sons and 4 grandchildren.
He has also been a Motocross racer for 45 years and is a Motocross state and national champion. He also enjoys fly fishing & golfing.
Mitch is very passionate about the golf industry, even after being here a short period of time. His goal is to bring the highest level of education to Michigan Equipment managers through the MiGCSA.
The Board also wants to express their sincere appreciation to Ben Beard, Equipment Manager at American Dunes for his service as Equipment Manager Liaison since 2018. Ben plans to still be very active in the MiGCSA as a committee member.
