At the MiGCSA Annual Meeting on February 27th a new initiative was presented to the attendees. The MiGCSA Board of Directors has been discussing this concept for many years and has been working hard to bring it to fruition since October of last year.
We are now proud to officially launch the MiGOLF brand.
The MiGCSA Mitten logo has long been popular among our members and golfers alike. Many of our members have sold hats with the logo on them in their own pro shops with great success for many years. The hope is to bridge the gap between golfers and the Superintendents who make the game possible at such a high level.
The marketing behind this is to brand the mitten logo as MiGOLF, where your passion meets our profession.
The goal is to provide an opportunity for golfers in Michigan to show support for our members. Provide a non-industry income stream to help support the MiGCSA mission to provide opportunities to our members through programs and services that enhance and promote our profession. We are very fortunate to have strong industry support from our partners, which is our main income stream followed by membership dues. To tap into the end user, the golfers who love and live the game is the goal of this new concept.
The first launch of apparel through is a partnership with our friends at North Coast Golf Companyfor their premium golf gloves. As a show of support for all you do for golf,they are passing through 100% of the profitsfrom these gloves directly to the MiGCSA.This is a limited time pre-order that will end on March 21st.In the future we do plan on having them available in their store year-round.
